Mr Symeon Mattes is Postgraduate research student within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, in the Departmennt of Engineering and the Environment, in the ISVR institute at the University of Southampton.

Symeon Mattes[1] graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (MSc, BSc) as Electrical and Computer Engineer in 2009 from the department of Communication, Electronics and Information engineering with emphasis in software applications, data and information processing and physics. Since 2011 he has been working as a postgraduate research student in the Acoustics Group. His research focuses on the development of perceptual models that are able to predict perceptual events, with emphasis in localisation, based on psychophysical factors.
